Hello dolls! I hope everyone made it through their Monday. Mine was most definitely manic. I am still trying to shake this cold/flu/whatever it is that is making me sick, so I have been trying to at least look cute on the outside so I feel a little bit better.

I am really glad that animal prints are in this fall, because otherwise I may have never considered owning any. Animal prints have always been something that just did not appeal to me, but lately, with all different takes on these prints readily available, I have found a few that I really love-especially gray leopard print. Me-ow! :)

I also LOVE pairing these types of prints with a pop of color like red or purple. I tried to get a better color photo but in case you can't tell, the tank I am wearing is a bright, deep purple color. It almost looks blue or too dark in these photos, but I promise it a gorgeous purple color. Think a purple crayola marker.

Want-It Wednesday: Blair Waldorf Style

Last night I watched my latest DVR'd gossipgirl episode. As usual, I felt totally inspired by all of the fabulous fashion on the show. After a brief facebook commenting session with Kimberly I came to a realization- Blair Waldorf is my style icon. It's official. I've never been so inspired by or wanted to dress like anyone as much as I want to dress like her. Every single outfit I have ever seen her wear on the show is favorable in my opinion. I want the stylists for the show to come style me as if I were Blair! But since that will never happen, I can admire from afar...

Her style is exactly what I would call "classic girly"...and I want every article of clothing they put her in! I am hoping to use some of her outfits as inspiration for some of MY future outfits :)

And just for fun, here is my OOTD. I felt chic all day just by simply adding a great necklace to my outfit (and I think I wore it backwards but I liked it that way for today)...proof that accessories can do a TON for your look!

Has anyone read the Lucky Shopping Manual? I've seen it advertised in Lucky Magazine for years and am just now getting around to reading it. I bought it on Amazon for about $6.50 including shipping. Team Spirit

Yesterday, S&S took me to my very first Ohio State football game...and let me tell you- it was amazing! I had so much fun walking around before the game and checking out all the different tailgates and vendors. Then, during the game, I loved learning about all the fan traditions and of course loved watching the team demolish the opposing team. I used to be strictly a Cavaliers girl...but I am thinking I am definitely now an Ohio State girl. I LOVE my city.

I did it. I wore white after Labor Day! Oh no! I am SUCH a rebel! Anyway, I randomly threw this outfit together for work this morning thinking it was nothing special and I actually ended up really loving the way that the ruffles looked peeking out of the cardi. The pants are not super flattering, but they were super cheap at the outlet, so I'm going with it.

Want-It Wednesday: It's Been Awhile!

It has been so long since I've done a want-it Wednesday, but I am super pumped to finally get going with this again!

This week, I am searching high and low for a pair of super cute and comfy gray boots. I consider boots to be a fall/winter necessity, and I don't have any gray ones, so I can justify needing them (ha!) Because I am so short, I am also looking for something with a bit of a heel, but that I could easily wear all day. I'm not sure that this is actually possible, but here are a few that I have seen that I think are cute:

Back in Action! OOTD From Last Week

So I took photos of a random outfit last week, mostly trying to figure out a place in my apartment that I can snap some good pictures of myself. As you can see in the second photo, I figured out a spot that will shoot my entire body but is not the best background...fruit snacks anyone? hehe :) And it is not as close-up as I would like...but we're getting there. Here are some photos of a cute little cami that I got last winter and just wore for the first time last week with a short sleeved black cardigan...layering is my fall BFF.

Tired of Using Technology!

Hello friends!
I know I keep promising more updates- and believe me- I really WANT to be updating. However, I have not had working Internet at my apartment for 8 days now and I am becoming extremely frustrated! Supposedly the repair people are going to be coming to fix it tomorrow, and hopefully soon thereafter I will be posting like crazy (I am currently on my work computer- but don't worry...the kids are long gone for the day!!!)
Anyway- I hope to be back to my regularly scheduled programming shortly.
And MAN, I am going to have a ton of reading to do! :)
